think hero 7 is a better choice compared to dji pocket
4k that the max frame rate already make is the plus point, and not to mention other specs
plus the hypersmooth is quite good without using gimbal

any recommendations which model i should get for the best bang for buck? this will be my secondary travel companion along with my a7rii. will use the gopro for mini video shots and wide angle selfies as i normally travel alone.

i don't really need the latest model, something that is budget friendly and can take RAW photos. thanks!

Is it worth it to buy a hero 7 black for $535 with 1 year local warranty and a 32gb SD card? I’m using a $60 cart coupon on Qoo10.

I bought mine from shopee at 513 with 32gb SD card, free 3 way grip and tempered glass screen protector a week ago

i dont think it matters...you are dealing with Gopro directly on any RMA....they will direct you to send to a GoPro return center. but you NEED to produce the sales receipt...

i believe so...the cs staff were adamant on obtaining a sales receipt....why not just chat them up online and just say you have an online receipt..they are friendly but strict on the receipt in my case.

May I know where is the Service Centre? Need to send in my Gopro 6 .... the battery cover can't cover fully....

i had an experience walking in to Streamcast at Alexandra many years ago when i was on a gopro2 but even so, I email/chatted up with gopro online first.

hi all, recently purchased a hero black 7.
i noticed a black horizontal shadow on the top 1/5 of the screen.
is this normal? (i.e background for the icons?) or should I send back for repair/replacement.
i chatted with gopro online support but they said it was “light from the screen reflected on to the screen”. exact words. the support doesn’t give me much confidence, seeking all your advice if y’all have come across anything similar.

Use and thrash it until it gets worse or before your 1year warranty period is ober and try to bring up a case with GoPro again.
Or go down to where you bought it from and try another demo set if available and see if it has the same issue
