hey guys i have an enquire. usually if buying the D90 body alone. wat type of lens it comes with?

No lens. U said it already. If buy the BODY ALONE. :s13:

Yup, body alone means no lens. The original kit lens is the 18-105 VR lens. Now there's the 18-55 + 55-200 combination too...

May I know what make you choose this brand/model over Canon and others?

Its always tough comparing features/price.
However, atm D90's special feature is its video recording capability.
Of course, many will say, so so video, no continual auto focus, etc

But If holiday photos ranks rather high in priority, then
I can safely say that sometimes, photos, just doesnt tell the story well enough...
Besides the photos you shot, Its great to watch again, eg, that ethnic dance/music, chanting,friends speaking/commentary....etc:s13:

I already have a HD camcorder so getting the best PQ with my budget is my deciding factor.

Sorry, but what's your budget again? S$2k with lens can try D90 or 40D with some spare change, probably good enough for a second-hand flash or lens. I went for the D90 mainly because of it's similar performance with the D300 and video recording function.

Nikon is much better ;D

Please elaborate, else people might think you're just being a fanboy of the brand.

Would you recommend any Canon model within my budget?
