[BLEAKING NEWS] Arteta agrees to become new Arsenal manager

Mikel Arteta has agreed in principle to replace Arsene Wenger and become the new manager at Arsenal.

Goal understands that, while no contract has yet been signed, the announcement of Arteta's return to the Emirates Stadium will be made in the coming days.

appointed a joker. it like getting a Singapore striker to lead arsenal strike force in EPL. Prepare to mid table or even regulation battle next season.

He will not be the next Pep Pep or ZZ.
The owner will not have a big war chest to play with.
He will be dealing with a bunch of spoilt players.
The media will have a field day whacking him about his team selection.

Unless the owner ki siao and decided to buy some players to strengthen the backline, he will most probably last half a season.
Then, Ah Seng will be back in 2019.
Maybe it is a scam pulled by the owner.

Why would Arsenal want Arteta?

I don't recall he was good at Arsenal. He was not bad with Everton. It should be Everton that should hire him.

Henry and Viera stand out much more if they want to hire ex-players to become the manager.

The owners dun have a choice.
The famous manager will not take up the job if there is no war chest to play with.
I guess Arsenal will only buy one or two players for this transfer windows.
Only ATT would accept the job to manage the existing deadwood so that he can gain the experience.
