only ielts general is accepted if you are migrating to canada. even the ielts academic is not recognised. canada now welcome FT

pearson is easiest and accepted by oz and nz but not recognised in canada, usa. but easier also no use cause oz and NZ hate foreigners
as though canada and USA "love" foreigners?!?!?

there are some forum members here who have difficulty with the PTE academic scores. and these are true blue Singaporeans we are talking about.

maybe the other foreigners (Tiong/CECA) really put in much hard work to ensure they pass the exam for their desired grades.
Ielts need to speak verbally to a oral examiner. That is even harder wor

it depends on the candidate.

I have no qualms holding a decent conversation with AMDK or AMDL. especially when it is work related

Angmo examiner is not easy. You need to speak at their frequency then can really high score. Most people i know use PTE cause if you understand the computer, you can score pretty high for it

then why they keep giving PRs to tiongs and CECAs? more than 40% of PRs are issued to ceca and tiongs.

they can give PRs to brits and other europeans
Not enough Brits and Europeans compared to Tiongs and CECAs

given topic for me. took the academic test. kena computer gaming topic... lol.

but according to other frens who took it, u can actually skip the topic u are not familiar. u will usually be given a 2nd topic, if u say u are really not familiar with the 1st.

it doesnt matter for or against. the test ish to test ur spoken lang skills, not about ur political stance lol. any topic they give, just try to talk ur way out with some basic logic, dun sound silly/self contradicting can liao.
