You mean Diatomaceous Earth? It's the best "natural" insect killer but might not be suitable if you have pets/kids. Great for bed bugs too, used as cat litter so might be purchaseable at pet stores but expensive. Also hard to apply when the ant trail is crawling along the wall.
Diatomaceous Earth got Food grade one isn't it? which is safe for pets and supposed to help with flea/parasites problem if mixed into their food. I saw online reviews some people even bought it to mix w water and drink, for clearing intestines.

It basically just block the ants from going that way. Ants will go find another route.

DE is placed at the suspected location in which the pests are likely to use. If the Cockroach or Ants don't go that way, its useless.

Quite sticky, have to use some detergent to clean it off completely.

My house used to be ants free but since baby, ants appearing everywhere (suspect due to baby saliva sweet from fruits and snacks and he apply it everywhere using his hands)

Any recommendation for child friendly way to kill ants?
