she is shaming him publicly,

lets assume that he did ask for a $10 top up only.

so why should he be made to pay an additional $125 extra?

apart from KPKB online, she should do something other than being a fake to pity the old man and putting it online, she can maybe give him like 50 bucks to help him subsidise the damage if she felt so strongly about it

just because he has worked hard to reach a level where he can buy a big car, he should pay for someone else's mistake?

come on, be objective a bit guys
objective ur head.

nobody will drive up to petrol station to pump a $10.
lucifer, Supersen, stevle and 1 others like this.

on the other hand, what if the driver was right?

if he did ask for $10 only but was mistakenly pumped $135, then how?

if you dont take age and the cost of the car into consideration and if this happened somewhere else, like a food stall,

some of you would say that the stall owner is trying to pull a fast one and make the customer pay more than what he had asked for.

maybe the car isnt even his, thats why he only asked to pump $10
I pump petrol so many times and never kena wrongly before. In fact most uncles would confirm again just to make sure they got the right amount. In this case, even if the uncle DID heard wrongly, is it fair for him to pay the difference when the petrol is already in the driver's car? This is just Chao kuan.

then just pay rah
wtf not like he got cheated of his petrol
its still inside his car what.
i know i may be stretching it a bit cos there are a lot of 'what ifs'

but what if he borrowed the car to use and was only looking to pump what he used?

or what if he only intended to pump $10 so that he can have enough fuel to reach JB to pump the rest?

its the same at a chai png stall what. u asked for 1 meat 1 vege, actually only $3. but the old aunty put 2 meat and 2 vege and charge you $6 then say cannot put back the meat.... would u be happy to pay? cos anyway, u didnt have a big appetite and cannot finish what she had given you

Under table deal? The attendant and the driver know each other? The attendant will write it off as some kind of mistake. There is some allowable amount for this each month?

They should investigate if the attendant and driver know each other.

The BMW guy might really have really told the elderly pump attendant he want $10 of petrol nia, but the thing is everyone makes mistakes sometimes, more so for the eldery...

Fact: the full tank petrol has already been pumped into the BMW,

I would think that any kind person upon knowing this would maybe clarify abit but in the end will still pay up or even half of the amount as the petrol is already in his car. He did not lugi in anyway.

Maybe this is not his car, his boss instructed him to pump 10 nia... but it somehow still shows alot about this guy.

Thumbs up for the eldery pump attendant for owning up first instead of creating a fuss...

just my 2 cents.

Use your brain and think.

If it cost $135 to pump, it means his tank is almost empty. Empty tank u think he will just pump $10? Not even enough to travel to the next patrol station.

So obvious he purposely wait until his tank almost empty then come out with this pattern to cheat those poor old attendant.

what i mean is, she can say anything about him to paint him as a devil she wants an no one could have proved otherwise

if i were her, i would report it factually without emotions and left that part out.

just state facts enough already

dont need to say smug face, big car, young man, old man etc...
Agreed. But the thing is still it totally doesn't make sense to pump $10 for his car.

And also i feel that very hard to like hear the wrong thing also. You tell uncle "uncle pump full tank hor" or in hokkien "Pah muah hor" or in chinese " dah man ah" Vs " uncle pump $10 only" or in hokkien " pah zup kor nia" or in chinese " dah Shi quai" It sounds so different that not possible to hear wrong really.

if the driver was an old man or a chio bu driving a black toyota vios

and the pump attendant was of a warrior race,

based on EDMW track record, some of you guys would do a full 180 degrees
