Amazon Echo (Alexa)

Here's the earlier thread focusing on Echo Dot with some discussion on Alexa/Echos: http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/ea...#post111169301

This new thread broadens scope to Alexa, all Echos and Alexa-enabled speakers/devices.

I set up my Echo Gen 2 couple days ago:

- within about 10 minutes after setup (in the middle of Despacito) Alexa interrupted itself to update. After that the audio sounds markedly better, more worthy of a $100 speaker.

- Mic pickup is about 25% better than echo dot. I can speak a little further and softer now, and hears me better while playing music. Less frustrating.

- It has stayed connected so far. My dot disconnected almost once or twice a week usually in middle of dinner time when we need to use it.

hmm... since you're using rm pro, maybe want to start by checking out broadlink's own wifi curtain motor here for about US$100 (check around for better pricing): https://www.aliexpress.com/store/pro...303295192.html
