Wtf no nomination still must pay so much?
nominate a person is free and if you book appointment, whole process less than 15minutes is done. faster than you watch an episode of korean drama

oh and ya, when you marry, you need to do your nomination again because the nomination will reset upon married.

and for idiots who might ask, marry = signing of ROM papers i.e solemnization ceremony, not chinese wedding.

But the property need to pay by cpf then can pledge right?
Cause if the hdb is pay via cash cannot pledge?
If property is paid by cash also can pledge as long as you are owner or co-owner of the property
Same rule applies, when selling off the property need to refund the amount you withdrawn using the pledge

basic package still cpf life leh
you can opt out if you
  1. have your own life annuity bought using cash. The monthly payout you receive from the life annuity should be equal to or above the full monthly payout; or
  2. are a pensioner receiving a monthly pension equal to or above the full monthly payout.

If you not so rich to buy your own annuity then stop whining. Taxpayers don't want to pay for you when you old and poor and homeless and use all your CPF monies on ATB mistress

Actually I also got a question.

Every year the minimum sum is changing and I am at my 30s.

Which minimum sum should I follow? The last minimum sum before I turn 55?
of course.. that should be obvious.

Just take yearly increase of say 5k till at 55, est around 300k for min sum.
it will not be 5k a year.. follows inflation so it will be percentage.. helpful bros have done the extrapolation liao.. if you share what year you hit 55 you can get an answer for what your applicable FRS will be for your cohort.

Nothing wrong to work till 70-80 .
Not many like to idle for the next 20-30 years.
Sinkies live until 80s.
Money may not the issue but boredom/ early dementia are the issues.

If you have to work full time job after 55 years old, means your whole life must be a useless bum just like p____...

Even WP low this year 61 also retire liao..
