You should worry more about those new phones with super zoom....

I hope these CCTVs can catch those silang jhks and tiongkias who like to splash buckets of water from their windows at night.

If you willing to walk around your house naked then you scared what? So scared then you install complete black out curtain or film.
Can be across toilet to bedroom only. Depends on layout.

There is a difference between man using hands to hold and a permanent installation watched by unknowns.

Can be sister, housemate or any lady who is at home alone expecting some privacy.

Chance recording is differs from surveillance.

Anyone knows what guidelines there are to CCTV to catch high rise litterbugs by private entities?

Can CCTVs point towards apartments with ceiling to floor windows?

In the night, the interior is very clear.

NEA gives assurance and can be trusted but what about private condo's CCTV poining towards neighbouring condo or apartment with fuul height windows?

Catch high rise littering.ust be that block a lot of high rise littering. Most common issue is people throwing cigarettes butts out of the windows. The person who kena sure complain to NEA. Super inconsiderate cos if kena babies or young kids, can have very bad consequences.

You do not see many permanently fixed CCTVs pointing upwards for good reasons.

The issue is more on internal of units being visible at night when it is lit.

The pictures above show top down view and it is a concrete wall from feet to waist.

However, what about CCTVs pointing through floor to ceiling windows?

Modern CCTVs have powerful zoom function.

If you see one, would you be comfortable? Kids or adults may walk toilet to bedroom naked unawares that a CCTV is spying(especially if not owned by government agencies with strict protocols).

Private CCTVs are manned in a command center and the viewer could be anyone. We have seen cases where such videos were leaked.

NEA and other Government is alright. There are strict protocols.

What about private MCSTs who think they can do as they wish? Like one MCST purposely point CCTV at another apartment (public or private).

Just need to point a bring LED IKEA lamp from window towards the camera to avoid your room from being visible.
Else just install a lace curtains from IKEA
