If you check page 14 2nd photo, the ammo of 8 layers is compressed and went in. You just need to ruler the ammo inside. Sides are reinforced sewing.

Why today you find I not selling is because I dun have sewing machine. Wanna sell pple must be properly made including flipping. I not flipping mask cloth to sew here. Learning how to use sewing machine is only counted by hours. Ultimately i still a diyer, learning isnt the problem here. And yes, face mask more difficult to make than surgical mask.

You weigh the pros and cons here. If just want easy, quick and dirty, go for surgical design. If you want something good, do it slowly. MOH current figure at least 67 there.

I agree. I think I want to DIY those that can slot in my current mask then my mask can be recycle for days. Is it better?

lol, you need third hand to hold that machine down, else ur sewing will not be straight. Same like soldering and welding. most of time pple will needle hold cloth instead of say paper clip or kiap kiap type of clipper.

I am using free hand here, no kiap kiap, no needles.

breathing not an issue. i breathe test the cloth before all three versions.

Sooner or later will give way, because ur base mask is still prone to destruction. Not that you cannot do it this way. Eg. Modify the surgical to slot in tissue or non woven materials. You will need backup. So i am not saying not viable, just that you need to have backup.

fabric mask no use one

fabric mask slot in dried up wet wipe ish a little better but also not going prevent virus from getting in. but u can add layer...

yeah just DIY 2 washable masks... everyday change..
what u want to slot in as filter, u can slowly figure out

surgical mask layer = non-woven PP (outer/water resistant) + melt blown (middle/ filter bacteria) + non-woven PP (inner)

outer layer if can get water resistant fabric then good but cannot figure out what ish water resisitant besides umbrella
as cannot get the middle layer, it's just a normal mask....

u stick a plastic folder on top of your face also better at blocking saliva splatter cos it's solid compared to fabric which ish porous.... problem ish wear this go MRT will take up a lot of space...

this thing the guy wearing ish called a face shield... at start of outbreak, the nurse inside wuhan hospital also had to DIY this cos run out of supplies...

kaisoz and Laneige like this.

One item i have, most of you, if not all of you dun have its call a heater. Electric coil heater. Bought as part of humidifier function.

So basically I can keep warm during extreme weather. Heater has a secondary function to reduce humid and can bacteria. *smile* 想不到吧? 嘿嘿

Simi green house effect, green house tax theory, these are crabs sia, i keep mentioning polar magnetic shift, u all not paying attention there.

I now can build humidifier so basically that box humidifer/fan/heater almost lost its function there. Dehumidifer I dismantle to learn it, so diy one also no longer an issue there. You'd find that I prep not on a singular level but multi-levels across many subjects.
