3M DS02 replacement filter

For users of 3M Filtrete™ DS02 EzyPure Water System, you may currently find it difficult to buy the DS02 replacement filter. There's another 3M filter that fits this water system. It's slightly taller than DS02 but fits perfectly into the water system. You can buy from the link below:

Anyone using whole house water filtration? How much is it? Is it worth it and any recommendations?

Thanks
Those kind of whole house filter (install at the riser one) usually come with a steel mesh filter and a release valve at the bottom that you can turn and release the water with the captured debris so you don't have to change the filter outright.

For those who want to be double kiasu, on top of prefilter, the other place where you should install those filter thingy should be under your kitchen sink where that is the primary water source for the whole family.

If you are just gunning for regular clean water, just get those normal 1 piece drop in white filter kind. No need simi 3 step clean and ultra clean plus alkaline injection simi sai filter. Alkaline water, diamond water, all are B.S liao. But if you do 'feel good' after you install those simi alkaline/diamond water thing, then its your own money. Important thing is you feel good. Not me (I don't stay in your house anyway).

Sounds like the makings of an old wives tale.
Don't be too sure.

Do u have any lobang for a moderately price whole house pre filter. I checked with ao Smith and theirs costs 200+ for a simple gadget!

I use this. cheap and can save alot of money in long run. change $60 filter every 1500 litres of purified water (around every 5-6 months).

Are faucet filters effective. What are recommended ones. Would it make filling of kettle troublesome if there isn't any tube

should be effective but not sure. i just started it yesterday. i wait for my wife to come back from overseas and try it as she can differentiate between normal water and purified water.

kettle no problem. still can fill. if yours cannot, then can use cup to fill kettle.
