Gxgx part 21! On pana 468, there’s a bigger sister version to cater to a bigger family size. For love nest of 2 pax, I’d say it’s just the right size. Just around $900 at Audio House, can bbbmtl

Bruh, from previous discussions, BCA (?) regulations at least 1 side must be open or at least open-able leh ... you plaster over 1 side and cover the other with carpentry, your ID / contractor should know better that this is not allowed.

You might as well take the opportunity while you're still in early stages of reno and haven't paint, get your ID / contractor to dig out the plaster and do the slotted cover.
The other side is tic tac door... kym? Btw where to get that slotted cover?

Tic tac door in front then no prob. Ur ID will retain the front one for you, doesn’t flout the regulations since technically one isn’t sealed. Did the same, so all good.

Most reno thread folks got theirs from Singa Plasterceil, price should be $80, but because my facing-living-room side hole plastered over they quoted additional $10 to dig out this plaster. I haven't done mine because I was planning how best to box-up the living room beam my living room aircon fancoil is installed on to install Unifi ... now I dumped the Unifi for Velop, should be contacting them just for this slotted cover job soon.

But it seems many other plasterceil companies do in fact have these, not just Singa Plasterceil. Why not you speak with your ID / contractor, show them the pic, see if they can hook you up ... I seem to recall some folks' ID / contractor got lobang for this and charged something like $60 or so for theirs? If yours quotes you anything more than $80-$90 then you contact Singa Plasterceil also not too late.

BL boys did a mini group buy and got the following deals.

$50 for 1 side slotted cover.

$80 for 1 side slotted cover + 1 side fully plastered.
