Get items on space planning from all the proposals u have, then ask absolook to implement
my wifey also think so. tonight meeting 1 more for space-planning+quotation and 3 more over the weekend. then start to consolidate all

Watever colour trucking, i tot usually will still paint over with the same colour as ur wall so it is not so obvious. Unless u want to go for industrial look and purposely contrast the colour
Wall trunking will paint over. But ceiling trunking usually remains white since ceiling also white..

Ceiling trunking better paint lah. Otherwise the colour shade and texture difference will be quite obvious.

Can DIY if you don't want to spend $$. It's very easy. Just tell the painter to leave you some ceiling paint.

Ownself calculate lor, first 180k 1%, next 180k 2% after that 3%. So your $5.3k BSD means purchase price of $355k.

Painting the house is not a 1-time-1-day affair. The painters will come back to touch up at least once after the first day.

Your ceiling should be painted ideally AFTER your electrician has run all the wiring and closed the trunking. That way the whole ceiling, including the trunking, can be painted all at once.

If you're OCD, you will definitely want to touch up after the lights have been installed. When they install the lights, they might need to open a bit of the trunking for whatever reason, and some of the paint will flake off. You can simply just touch up yourself.

For me, the painters came 4 times in total. First time is paint whole house, the rest is touch up. Of course, you can avoid that if you plan better than me. I kept adding things like architraves, carpentry...etc, so the paint always gets damaged.

Eventually, the painters left a can of all the colours for me and a paint brush and a roller brush for me to touch up myself. Now, as I spot small blemishes, I simply touch up myself. It's not rocket science. Really easy.
