Nope, based on my calculations of aircon consumption. The peak time that aircon uses the most electricity is the initial 1-2hours.

I'm pretty sure you will on the aircon at around 9 or 10pm to prepare for sleep. After 2 or 3 hours, the electricity consumption of aircon will decrease significantly. Hence, you don't really save much during 12-6am. I almost wanted to sign this as it look very attractive on paper (50%).

That's when I really go track the meter movements, midnight usage quite low even with 3 aircon on. Peak electricity at 10pm-11.30pm. With only 5% off from 6am-12am, you are in fact going to pay more. Rather you get the fixed one.
thx for sharing... guess u mean inverter air con right... those using non inverter maybe is different

Yup, mine is DC inverter aircon. 3 Aircon on every night. Weekends, maybe i will turn on my living room (24,000 btu split) and cool the entire house.

Im more afraid about water prices than electricity. Water, i save drips by drips, save the entire pail for washing of toilet.

Even though I am already at Geneco $0.162, the Tuas 3yr plan at $0.168 could turn out to be a dark horse good deal as well with the increase in regular tariffs. If there are some referral programs it might worth to check out as well.

Nice sharing...

Seems like 6month ls of best electric is the best rate.

Or choose Tuas 3-year plan for ease of mind.

Geneco 2-year is good as well.

Fixed plan is still good for most consumption patterns. You get the lowest tariffs. Take a look at Geneco $0.162/kWh and Ohm $0.1695/kWh 24mth plan.
That's 29.75% discount off SP Tariff rate ($0.2413/kWh)

It's pretty scary, it's 50% now. Last month water bill was $19, after all the charges, become $30+. Add GST become $42
