I wonder why retailer can offer cheaper rates but not SP Power? That is weird. Their rates so high. They not scared all the customers run away meh

SP earns from OEMs now:

1) Usage of existing infra power grid to consumer homes - OEMs don't have to lay any power cables

2) SP does the administrative billing - OEMs get reports from SP in the current actual / estimated alternate month mode despite the 1/2 hourly meter readings from AMI meter

3) SP supplies the manpower for fault hotline, maintenance, etc - OEMs don't hire their own

Its just a different business model used by SP - instead of earning from consumers...earn from OEMs

I checked with the person b4. You get nothing if you use reseller code. They don't acknowledge.

The benefits of forum sharing - those who applied before you went thru process before and questions raised by you might have come up before etc.

Sharing / recommendations will also be supported by facts thus its not like one sided recommendations coming from roadshow promoter where everything best is the brand they are hired for without comparisons to other OEMs. If there are newer updates to some information, those who know will add on.

Those OEM are now reviewing its prices. More likely, we are going to see the dissaperance of $0.16x. More likely it will be around $0.17ish

I switched to fixed rate price plan for awhile already since my guess is the same as yours that tariff will rise and also 16.XX cents rate might last till Sunday or Monday / Tue only

Here too btw under SP. You are paid the tarrif minus power carriage fees of a bit over $5.

This goes to offsetting your nightly use.

I am not sure how it works with OEM, or if you generate so much in the day you have net credit with SP.

not so long ago, there was a few people here that uses 1500kWh a month.
That's me on a bad month lol. That's why OEM is a godsend. It is practically a 15% discount on my utilities bill when it finally releases in my area Jan 1st.
