According to XE. Any possible explanation for this?

Just last week was around $122 there for 10k yen.

Sounds funny but considering that Japan has been hit by typhoon and hurricane yet the currency going up, I'm starting to think it is possible.

Japan economy is collapsing that's why JPY is rising

If 1 sgd to 79 yen or less, expect more japanese coming sg to spend. Could be deliberate move by MAS to boost tourist spending in SG?
