I was in harmonica band for syf

Didn't like it

Only play piano now as adult beginner

Reminds me... Used to play recorder in school. Kym?

My late father played the harmonica. Cheap instrument to play since he was from a poor family. Thinking of learning on my own and surprise my mum...

Great!

It's an instrument which isn't tough but sounds still so nice! Simplistic!

I'm currently attending classes on ukulele.

Probably going to be one of the more unique instruments here but I played the tuba for 3 years......back in primary school

I was picked because I was the tallest around, even taller than the boys

But honestly, I would love to pick up learning piano. In fact, I'm thinking of getting a cheap casio/yamaha electronic keyboard and just learning the skill online. But is it possible to learn to play the piano competently, as an adult, from just youtube videos?

Zehzeh I am an adult beginner as a pianist

You sure can be self taught but isn't it better to have someone to correct your posture and fingering as these bad habits will carry on for the next few years and it might be too late to rectify

Go by traditional route, learn to read notes instead of relying on Synthesia
