In northern China and Korea, they eat potatoes and potato flour noodles for carbs. It is very common and they call it Tu Dou. They don't understand what is Fan Shu.

Don't say until the whole Asia leh

Jiu sure many sinkie don't jiak kantang on daily basis?

Even don't count the fast food kantang, if you ask any cai png stall owner, they should tell you that kantang dish ish actually one of the popular dish they can sell here. That why most cai png stall you visit confirm plus chop got at least a kantang dish either wet or fried and some ish both also have. Not to mention many frequently ask to add the kantang from the curry cheekon too.

Rice cannot grow in their short summer and cold dry climate the rest of the year. The rice, if and when they do eat it, all imported from southern climates. Don't take my word for it. Go and see for yourself.

They eat potato, wheat, barley, corn and sorghum. That's their carbs.
