Flexible working hours and locations
High hourly rate
Special payout for major events
Insurance coverage whilst on duty
CPF contribution
Special allowance if hit target hours
thanks...

i have a history of knee surgery (ligament re-construction) but now, I'm fit.

Do i still have a chance or they will reject me immediately due to my history of knee surgery?

Questions about APO Aetos / CIsco

Hello guys

I would like to ask you some questions regarding the post below

"Hi. I'm an APO from Aetos. Basic pay is $2550 but you need to clock at least 240 hours within that month. And you can get another $500 but first you need to clock at least 260 hours per month. This job is not for those weaklings who s office jobs. You also need to be able to pass IPPT test during the training month to be deployed. APO job is not that bad seriously. Just long hours and less time than the usual sissy office jobs... "

a) Are the normal working hours as follows below ? ( 12 hours shift)
Mon: 4.30am - 5.30pm
Tue: 12pm - 12am
Wed: OFF
Thu: 4.30am - 5.30pm
Fri: 12pm - 12am
Sat: 12pm - 12am
Sun: OFF

b) If the above is true , you would clock 12hr x 5 x 4 = 240 hours per month and you would get the basic pay of $2550 ?
If one wants to clock 260 hours per month , he can choose the days and hours to do OT? How does this work ?

c) What is the salary and job progression for the Auxillary Police Officer after a period of time ( 5 years example ) ?

d) Certis Cisco is offering a similar package as well. Is there any difference between Cisco and Aetos ?

e) There is a part time option for APO for Aetos and Cisco. Do you know the working hours and salary benefits for it ?

Thank you very much for your help

We believe in efforts & hardwork, If you are able to pass the ippt, and most importantly you won't get yourself injure, then we won't reject.
Thanks...

is the AETOS IPPT same as current Army IPPT?
i.e. sit-ups, push-ups and 2.4km run.

Hi guys, I just came back from an interview from CISCO for the APO position.

I graduated with a Degree from SIM but not recognized, therefore they can only offer me a Diploma pay of $2,600 basic, Sergeant rank. Lol. Don't know I study so hard for a degree for what sia.

Recruitment HR Officer there told me that it's 2D, 2N, 2Offs, 12 hours shift each - 8am to 8pm or 8pm to 8am, with a one hour break.

9 weeks training @ Jurong East where you have to stay in from Mon-Fri. Book out Friday night, book in on Sunday night 8pm.

Salary when doing the 9 weeks training = $1.5k. If halfway give up training, have to pay them $2,800.

After completing the 9 weeks training, I get a basic pay of ($2,600) + MPI - which is my performance bonus ($200). So I will have a take home pay of $2,800 gross. If plus OT all these, I might take home $3,200 - $3,300. (haven't minus CPF)

Joining bonus of $15,000 which is spread over a period of 3 years.

1st payout of $5,000 will be given to me when I get my FIRST MONTH salary, whereby I have to complete a one year bond once I receive that $5,000.

Subsequently, every 6 months after the one year bond, I will receive $2,500 every 6 months.

All these: $5,000 (1st year) + $2,500 (6 months) + $2,500 (6 months) + $2,500 (6 months) + $2,500 (6 months) is what they are referring to as their $15,000 joining bonus over a period of 3 years.

I can choose to leave after the first year bond, which is after I take the $5,000 and zao. Or I can choose to continue for the next 2 years to take their $10,000.

Surprisingly, the HR officer pretty much hired me on the spot. Told me to go for a free check up @ Changi Airport next Monday. If all is good, I can report for training in two weeks time. Seems like they are pretty desperate for people haha.

Hope this clears everyone's doubts.
