Sources say Liverpool has given up on keeping Can.
They have offer him their best terms and in principle understand that what he want - pay to be similar with top earners and a release clause of academy player - will not be met. Liverpool has also stop the practice of adding release clause in negotiation as player/agent hold the power in the future contact negotiation.

Juv is interested in the player and whether they can meet his demands is to be seen. Can is just selling to the highest bidder as of now.

Good bye Can but not good luck. Liverpool won't be hold hostage by you.
He can buzz off, the club will not be held ransom by him.
He is not even fit to go world cup. Hope he doesn't get into the first 11 on CL Final, its unfair to those who brought us there.
Now that he is leaving, we can look forward to a couple of good upgrade in midfield especially now that Ox is out for 6 months.

Congrats to these two for making the @England World Cup squad - don't look so shocked Trent, you deserve it!

Trent is in the England World Cup squad.

Glad Lallana not in the England squad. He needs to recover badly.

Mahrez n vardy will be nice too... we need to strengthen our depth...
Would be awesome if we could get Zaha. Seems closest to Mané in terms of utility.
If can get Mahrez, Vardy and Zaha, only left will be finding a CB and maybe GK as well.

Don't think any of the 3 are contended sitting on the bench.

England WC squad announced

Goalkeepers: Jack Butland, Jordan Pickford, Nick Pope

Defenders: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Gary Cahill, Phil Jones, Harry Maguire, Danny Rose, John Stones, Kieran Trippier, Kyle Walker, Ashley Young

Midfielders: Eric Dier, Dele Alli, Jordan Henderson, Fabian Delph, Jesse Lingard, Ruben Loftus-Cheek

Forwards: Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford, Raheem Sterling, Danny Welbeck, Jamie Vardy

Looks quite weak. Like a team for friendly instead of WC

It's just an act of courtesy by Liverpool owners to include Emre Can... He's injured anyway
Instead of letting him sit at home

Might as well let him enjoy it live.

If LFC wins UCL and Emre Can SUDDENLY decides to U-turn... We can delightfully say: "oh! I thought you never notice Keita... He's your replacement. =)
Thank you very much for your contributions for the past 4 years. And... All the best to your future endeavors! BYE BYE!"

Siao liao... Fake Madrid won so Real Madrid will even go out at full blast.

But fark it... I think we have a more all rounded squad than in 2013/2014, so lets bring on the game to them.

England needs a huge dose of exciting new talent to come in.

Let's repeat ISTANBUL!!!!

England needs a huge dose of exciting new talent to come in.
That will need direct assistance and pressure from FA to require EPL teams to field more english players in their 1st 11.

AW @ Arsenal is notoriously famous for fielding 1st 11 with Zero english players. Neither FA or the EPL association has ever taken action against such acts.

so we can see why the England squad always lack quality
