Instead, teams who are level in the table will be separated by head to head records before goal difference.

"If two or more clubs finish level in the table when competing for the title or European qualification, or when relegation is at stake, their records in the head-to-head matches will now be used to separate them," A Premier League statement read

"In 2019/20, the team who have collected the most points in the head-to-head duels between the sides lying level on points, goal difference and number of goals scored, will take the highest finishing position, while the team with the fewest will take the lowest place.

"If clubs still cannot be separated, the team who scored the most goals away from home in the head-to-head matches will get the highest position."

Indeed. It will be a good way to close the chapter of last season, start this season afresh if we can overcome this match. Somehow I feel last season's chase wasn't complete.

Fans always believe new signings are the answers.
Klopp has shown that this thinking may not be always right.

Nah, the signings of Alisson and vvd were massive impact to our squad. In signings, I believe he wants to strengthen the depth. He will sign jus dunno who next.

N we hv many young players wif potential n many versatile players like milner n gini n fabinho even hendo so we shldnt b overly concern lar.......wats the use of signing fer the sake of signing.....we made tat mistake many seasons back with balotelli n carroll n benteke n tat pos diouf tat score nutting n behave like lunatic....klopp has proven to us his foresight on signing is gd so far......

got origi ma...contract extended liao...n wun b surprised he wanna use brewster oso...19 liao if i nt wrong....time to give him chances liao...we never kw could be surprise like TAA....i still can rem tat match TAA play against manure n he kena bypassed by rashford so many times resulting in goals n we lost....but look at how taa matured under klopp....lb we hv options juz not a legit lb but can cover de.....

ting wif klopp is he dun like to switch much so players maybe hesitate to come coz we all kw who likely starting 11 especially front 3 and back 4...so hard for them to come n sit bench n not start every game?

The recruitment team keeps tabs on lots of players across different age groups and run exhaustive analysis on them. This is to identify possible players to recruit.

Availability and transfer negotiations thereafter are difficult steps to maneuver. It's rarely like klopp wants a player and next day he turns up at melwood or anfield for unveiling. Lots of moving parts to align. As can be seen with fekir things can fall apart at the last moment.

In short LFC will go for the right player at the right price. Hopefully all goes well. The days of panic buying are over.

Last season we did well in 2 runs; bpl and ucl.
This year as a club we shld give a good run in 1 of the domestic cups as well. So the academy and backup squad has to be better for it. Our options are open for that but in due course, I believe another 2 quality signings shld place klopp in position.
