Meanwhile rumors of koulibaly and Werner linking to LFC. Will be awesome. However I'm doubtful as clubs will be keeping keen eye on transfer values. Given lots of clubs are in trouble financially.
Got article saying we can't afford Werner already, how to even afford to sign both Werner and Kou :(

LFC has been prudent. Last window only tm18? With commercial revenue, money from champions league etc. Don't think club is short of money. Just that they won't pay over their valuation for players. With situation hard to say what's the appropriate valuation.

Another possibility is that most clubs will want to reduce their wages bill.

Liverpool are still in pole position to sign Timo Werner this summer, but the coronavirus pandemic has complicated any potential summer business. (@MelissaReddy)

Liverpool were willing to sanction a deal for Werner around the £50 million mark, but Covid-19 has removed surety around transfer planning. (@MelissaReddy)

They didn't pay his salary for 4 months. Seems last year had same problem.

Maybe the club think can bully him since there's no takers for him.

UK govt supports to restart but depends on how well the situation is on June 8th!

The DFL announce that the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga will resume on Friday the 15th of May with matches to be played behind closed doors. This came as a result of the allowance of sporting events to resume in Germany declared by Prime Minister, Angela Merkel.

Jordan Henderson won with 23% of the votes and is joined in the top two by teammate Sadio Mane.

Two other Liverpool players got over 10% of the votes - Trent Alexander-Arnold (11%) and Virgil van Dijk (12%).

Manchester City's Kevin de Bruyne has to settle for third place.

1) Jordan Henderson (23%)

2) Sadio Mane (17%)

3) Kevin de Bruyne (14%)

Liverpool are “in pole position” to sign Kalidou Koulibaly, with Jurgen Klopp hoping to partner the Napoli man with Van Dijk.

Klopp is convinced a move to Anfield “would be a big hit” and sources close to the Senegalese are fairly optimistic about it happening. [Le10Sport] https://t.co/U9TXJbIliU

This would be massive. It’ll make our already brilliant defense watertight.
