Maybe Jose see Mina no up, therefore he's contented with what he have (that s the reason this transfer window is kinda quiet for us)
Mina is definitely not any significantly better then what we have.

to me it was Toby or nothing. so... nothing. 🤣

Generally, from the look of the teams from the last season of which not much changes are made to Man City, Us, Chelsea and none for Spurs - only Liverpool is a team that brought in a goal keeper, 2 midfielders and a Stoke class Swiss Striker ( that appeared to have strengthened ). Arsenal on the other hand had a new handful of replacements - the majority of which are unknown.

Notwithstanding, the gap between the top 6 and the rest were rather huge and it is highly unlikely that however Everton were to strengthen their defense and West Ham were to revamp their team, it will be good enough to mount a challenge to dismount us or Chelsea or Spurs.

Spurs may be hard pressed to win something. Liverpool would have to win at least a silverware from their performance in their last season and the amount of monies spent. If they don't, the pressure from their fans would be immense. City is still the team to beat. Chelsea with Sarri in would perhaps be giving Us and Liverpool the push. Spurs will be there and thereabout. Arsenal is a totally new perspective team.

So, unless Everton or West Ham as you have mentioned can mount a Leicester City of 2016, I don't think the gap to the top 6 would be closing.
If u interested in championship winner betting, u can consider City, Liverpool or MU
Arsenal and Chelsea change coach feel they really need time to settle down (I might be wrong)

I would prefer Perisic over anyone else this window. Mata and Lingard are no RW. Having Sanchez there definitely reduces his threat. With AV relucting to cross these days, our right side is sh*t. All attack coming from mid or left, so easy for opponents to defend.

Oh well, let's pray our opponents play like shiat in the next 38 games.

Mina is definitely not any significantly better then what we have.

Executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward would not have flinched had Real Madrid told him to write a cheque for £100m for the Frenchman, a sum that would have smashed both United's club record transfer fee and the world record for a defender.

But they didn't. Over the course of a lengthy discussion between United's and Real's top brass in Miami last month, it became clear the Champions League holders would not sell at any price.

Godin's class is not in question either. The 32-year-old remains one of the best defenders in the world.

Encouraged to go for the Uruguayan in the final days of the window, United discovered they were being used as leverage to net Godin a better contract extension from Atletico Madrid, so another door closed.

Jerome Boateng was offered by Bayern Munich for about £40m. Mourinho was keen on the former Manchester City man. United, having analysed Boateng's awful appearance record - 33 games missed through injury and illness in two seasons - proposed a loan. Boateng and Bayern were not impressed.

United were not impressed by the outcome of their negotiations over Mina, walking away from what they regarded as prohibitive agents' fees which, if they had agreed to them, would have set a dangerous precedent for a player who is hardly in the world-class bracket.

Speculation surrounding a move for Tottenham's Toby Alderweireld rumbled on for much of the summer.

It turned out to be unfounded. United never made a bid for the 29-year-old Belgian.

As one club source said: "We ended up in a situation where if we had done a deal, we would have been swapping our fifth best central defender for another fifth best central defender."

Under the circumstances, United concluded there was no point.

Mata on the right = no RM.
Lingard, same as above.
MR or AM on the right = MR/4 or AM/4.

Right got mata, Lingard, Rashford and Martial
Anyone of this > Zaha

kinda sums up what I meant, if it's not significant improvement, then why spend the money?

If it was Varane or even Veratti, Ed confirm spend.

but will this strategy force the manager out? we will have to see.

We are just paying 60 odd SGD per mth...and can switch channel if bored with the games...

Imagine those paying > 70 pound PER GAME at Old Trafford excluding merchandise and snack....they will have to suck it up and sit thru the whole game.
