JM spent a total of £419,490,000

can humbly request we play abit better
maybe win those lower teams by 2-1 or 2-0 enough
no 1 billion no talk.

beaten my man siti is 1 thing. beaten by derby, wolves and brighton is another.

Man City squad before Pep joined:
Joe Hart, Kompany, Zabaleta, Mangala, Otamendi, Kolarov, Clichy, Fernandinho, Yaya Toure, David Silva, KDB, Nasri, Sterling, Navas, Aguero
And Pep spent £525,690,000 on this squad into current squad.

Man Utd squad before JM joined:
De Gea, Rojo, Blind, Jones, Smalling, Shaw, Young, Darmian, Schneiderlin, Carrick, Schweinsteiger, Herrera, Fellaini, Mata, Pereira, Depay, Martial, Januzaj, Rooney, Lingard, Chicha, Rashford.

Bold one are those who are still in the current squad. So we had a lousier squad, spent lesser money, and still reliant on the majority of the lousier squad.

Sure, we should beat lower team 2-0, 2-1, but we should lose to a higher team too. So position 8th-12th sounds about right for our current squad. 6th will be a surprise win.

Yes we should beat lower teams, but maybe some need to wake up from your bubble and reexamine who are the lower teams.

We drew with Wolves and Chelsea, who spent more than us. We lost to West Ham, who spent more than us. We lost to Brighton, who spent as much as us. Why is it so surprising?

Every Premier League team ranked by NET SPEND in summer transfer window

1. Liverpool – £155.4m (spent £167.9m, received £12.5m)
2. Chelsea – £87.3m (spent £128.6m, received £41.3m)
3. West Ham – £82.3m (spent £94.9m, received £12.5m)
4. Fulham – £68m (spent £72m, received £4.1m)
5. Arsenal – £64.8m (spent £68.3m, received £3.5m)
6. Wolves – £64.1m (spent £69.8m, received £5.7m)
7. Manchester United – £51.6m (spent £70.9m, received £19.3m)
8. Brighton – £49.6m (spent £57.1m, received £7.5m)
9. Southampton – £44.5m (spent £54.5m, received £10m)
10. Everton – £33.4m (spent £53.6m, received £20.3m)
11. Huddersfield – £32.1m (spent £42.9m, received £10.8m)
12. Burnley – £29.5m (spent £29.5m, received £0m)
13. Bournemouth – £29.4m (spent £47.7m, received £18.3m)
14. Cardiff – £28.5m (spent £28.5m, received £0m)
15. Manchester City – £25.2m (spent £62.5m, received £37.4m)

This sums our situation nicely. Sadly the solution will never arrive until some Saudi King suddenly likes football.

We've got the manager who's not getting the best out of this group of players and couldn't solve defence in 3 years.

And there's the CEO who's not great at his job either, hiring random managers (one totally different than another), blocking his managers transfers and extending his contract at the same time.

Both issues should be solved and solving one of them doesn't solve anything.

key areas in the squad(defence) are using players that will be playing for the bottom teams. not hard to see why we are grinding out results.
DDG had to make hundreds of saves last year. every game is like a bombardment of shots at him. cant be keeping them out forever.

this season he is not saving as many and look at our goals conceded.
but sadly, we do. such are the times...

Don't expect always to score goals during the last few mins of the game to win it. Top teams will be able to defend better.
Or top teams able to finish the charity given by united lol

or we can be happy to get a manager, spend a small bit of money, let us win small teams, occasionally win the top 4 for our year end review DVD cover...and den sing 20 times 20 times......
OR we can be playing Championship football like Leeds chasing for promotion every season.

All those players in bold are international players. At least 50% still featured in the WC. If they aren't good, they wouldn't be playing in that tournament.

Very sad, even ex pool sterling showboating at our players, 4-5 players can’t get ball from the 3 of them.

now, lets not make it sound like we know Dalot is gonna make a difference,
this is defensive position we talking about.
we can't even stomach a loss against one of the best team in the league now,
we wanna see Dalot playing in the last few games?
this is just like expecting Chong or was it Bohui getting his debut against Juve when we were losing..
if lvg never play rashford, he will still be playing in the reserves. maybe never get called up for england. also rashford and martial are slightly older than dalot.

Ryan Giggs also never played in WC before. Anyway, by your definition, every bold players from City team played a important role in their country, whereas ours only DDG, Feilani and Lingard, and I’ll add in LKK are key to their national team now.

All those players in bold are international players. At least 50% still featured in the WC. If they aren't good, they wouldn't be playing in that tournament.
