In Singapore, even win world cup also must serve NS.

Deferment only and no exemption.

Saw Andreas Pereira playing as a winger is not bad and i feel better then Martial, why play him as DM?

Asakura 02-09-2018 03:51 PM

basically someone who is willing to pick up new role as long as he gets to play. understands that left side is already overcrowded with options like Sanchez Rashford Martial

Pereira is now learning from new first-team coach Michael Carrick and expanded on the former United captain's insight as a deep-lying midfielder.

"He gives me advice all the time," Pereira explained. "He's very good for me and always tells me what to do and helps me in training, if I do something wrong he tells me and even if I do something good he will tell me as well.

"He played in that exact same position, so it's very easy to learn off him and if he tells you something it's so easy to pick it up because you understand it straight away. So I'm very lucky he's there for me.

"I've always been a midfielder so I always played when I was young as a midfielder, and anywhere where the manager tells me to play I will play and try to do my best, so now I'm playing the number six role.

"I can play the number eight role as well, so I'm just picking up learning and training, off Carrick and Kieran and the manager himself, they're helping me a lot and I will try to do my best to play here."

We have too many wingers
And in order to get more playing time our players have to covet to playing new roles and positions

But no right wingers.....plugging square pegs into round holes.
Then start wondering why so and so player is playing badly and have no progression and why that particular position always kena exploited by the oppponent or like no penetration during attacks.

If we fans can see it, what do you think the expert coaches/managers of the opposition will do when playing against us?

Juan_Mata 02-09-2018 04:58 PM

Will be whacking heavily on Burnley
Hope this will jinx ;)

Asakura 02-09-2018 06:11 PM

Pereira told Beyond the Pitch: “I think it was, because I’m really not a left winger.
“I’m more of a midfielder. He wanted me to play [wide], so I had to adapt.”

What about those in the bench or those in the squad but didn't get to play a single game in Asian games?

Do they get 2 free years of exemptions?

Bailly and Martial in the travelling squad. Martial scored both previous times at Turf Moor.

Asakura 02-09-2018 09:36 PM

honestly, thru out his time here, it is only news when declared fit, not the other way

Not to sound like a jinx, but usually when I wear United Jersey before a match on the day or day before... We usually lose.

I did wear it today...

We probably be leading 0-2 to raise everyone's hopes up, before crumbling to 4-2, pull a goal back to make it 4-3 but still conceded another goal in stoppage time to make it 5-3. Or could be the reverse.

Got fellaini in midfield like no fellaini like that.when he plays either he scores important goal or concede penalty to mark his presence,or he totally disappear on the pitch for the duration he is on it.

because we need to win, and the best way to win is to play Fellaini.
