Sanchez seemed to have spent most of the game instructing Shaw and on at least one occasion breaking from his own press on the ball to help Shaw cover.

When Shaw scored he wasn’t one of the players who ran over immediately to mob him despite being the nearest. In fact he was completely unexpressionless as the ball went in.

Probably nothing there but he doesn’t look like he was too impressed with Shaw. But he really needs to look at himself first.
agree with u, he is always blaming the mates on other occasion

other den wearing num6, playing on the left side of 3 man midfield that drifts to the flanks, definitely not a 6

unselfish but 90% of the time wasteful with possession. although some others are guilty of the same.

Shaw: "The boss likes me to attack. Last season that's why he was disappointed with me - he gives me a lot of help."

Game over

MU 2 LC 1

Pogba and Shaw were the scorers with Vardy getting a late consolation goal
Pogba was given the captain armband today and did a great job
whereas $anche$ was very disappointing.
New signing Fred did OK...but not much to shout about in just his competitive game

3 pts and good start to game #1... next will be away to Brighton.
To have a really good start you need to win the next 5 or 6 games.

Mourinho: "Good match. Two good teams. A match I needed six subs. I wanted to play Martial for Alexis or Mata. I needed more changes."

AP15 has the Carrick role in the team, screening the back four while having the ability to spray passes around the pitch to relieve pressure off the team. This boy has the potential, he has the perfect coach at the club to learn and take tips from

What you all think of Fred's debut? This guy is an energizer bunny, abit of a lunatic but he can certainly play football
