lukaku really gotta be more clinical man....

Kyubi 03-09-2018 12:37 AM

Lkk wasted...

Marky99 03-09-2018 12:39 AM

That kick by Bardsley on Rashford could have been a red card, and that foul on LKK looked like a penalty.

Juan_Mata 03-09-2018 12:41 AM

Lukaku so close to get a hat trick

Juan_Mata 03-09-2018 12:41 AM

Meanwhile

Watford 2-1 Spurs
Watford this season perfect start

Juan_Mata 03-09-2018 12:44 AM

Who think our pink kit is chio?

stam 03-09-2018 12:45 AM

Watford lead spurs, we lost 3-0 to spurs, next match vs watford. Will be kena thrashed?

Marcus19 03-09-2018 12:47 AM

I think Bardsley should be sent off for the tackle off the ball out of play. The ref encourage player to wind up other player?
And that guy handballed stopping Lkk should also be red carded :s22:

guile 03-09-2018 12:52 AM

A win is a win. 2-0 is good enough for us.

Marky99 03-09-2018 12:53 AM

Yes the ref pretty hopeless.

Asakura 03-09-2018 12:55 AM

ball went out so ref probably looked elsewhere so he missed the kick out

Mee wasnt given a card for that. not even freekick
and he tried to book Pogba for the handball but put the card back

:s22:

ticcan 03-09-2018 12:55 AM

******* ref so inconsistent, never send the Burnley defender off using his hand to stop Lukaku through on goal, even no foul.

Asakura 03-09-2018 12:56 AM

wow Watford won

jahtl62 03-09-2018 12:56 AM

What happened to Rashford? Played for 10 mins & get red card.

#MourinhoOut 03-09-2018 12:56 AM

Good job, finally.

Put his head on Bardsley forehead.

Gotta feel for LKK for missing out on hattrick.

But his one on one damn jialat...

Watford just stung spurs!

Asakura 03-09-2018 01:03 AM

give MOTM to Fellaini

genesis113 03-09-2018 01:04 AM

Good win. Pity we couldn’t score more to boost confidence.

he was clearly fouled by Mee though - did not even get a touch on the ball and was all over the back of Lukaku. The less said of his handball/diving save later the better.

Bardsley is an idiot - how come ex-man utd players can be such arseholes one siah.. that kick out could have caused serious injury if Rashford was not careful

All in all a comfortable win... everyone played well I feel...all at least get a 7/10 for me.. think Jose will stick with Fellaini and Matic for quite a while.. pogba was good too despite the missed pen: created a few good chances for Lukaku to score.

Doomsday 03-09-2018 01:23 AM

Only watched 2nd half...a win is a win. Rashford and referee the worst on the pitch today.

Hypernova 03-09-2018 01:51 AM

if rashford thinks wearing no.10 gives him the right to be guailan, i think he should be shipped out asap...

the kid's fast, but instead of showing the desire to run at goal like last season he is behaving like rooney now. trying to show fiery temper and all.

Bad reaction from him, but this Bardsley is an arse, no reason for him to kick out at rashford.

micey84 03-09-2018 02:40 AM

Watford not a bad team, got half the Portugal team for peanuts

Asakura 03-09-2018 07:31 AM

immaturity, inexperience from Rashford
no need to talk about shipping him out. this is the perks of having youngsters. they will learn along the way

Next game against watford, which Spurs just lose to.

It's gonna be a very tough game because its just right after the international break.

simple as that indeed, not sure what the "experts" are thinking by suggesting to ship him out :s13:

'You've got to walk away' - Mark Halsey
MARCUS RASHFORD was naive — he has just got to walk away.Once you put your head into another player, then you’re asking the referee to make a decision.Unfortunately for Rashford, Jon Moss has deemed it violent conduct after he reacted to a little kick from Phil Bardsley. But Bardsley should also have been sent off, as it looked like he stuck his head into Rashford after the initial contact.I think both teams will be charged with failing to control their players.
yeap shld be 10 vs 10. both arewrong..ref side home side

Mancunian2 03-09-2018 10:15 AM

violent conduct is when one raises his arms or kick out at an opponent
what rashford did was merely a gesture, not a head butt

it doesn't warrant a red card

One fan told her: "You can support the team and hate the owners and the regime Rachel. "The club havent backed Jose so why should we back them in return..."

To which Riley replied: "We've spent millions... What weve lacked is the 2/3 year forward planning we used to have with the continuity under SAF/Gill. We need everyone pulling together in the same direction as a team. Moaning on a banner helps no-one."

The fan responded by claiming United's spending was a "drop in the ocean in comparison to income" for a club of their size.
kind agree with the fan...those earn millions will confirm back woody....her 13th mth and pay master..

we fans can only envy

Mourinho also knows how to defence mah.

Don't worry, we have 3 alumi there, they will what what they need to do.

YorYor 03-09-2018 10:18 AM

I thought MarouaneF was quite good last night. Making himself available for passes, using his height and jumping very well defensively. Hope he can do play that role more often. Despite all the height as have in the team, our air battles have been hit and miss more often than not.
Slightly more assured performance from VictorL, hope he gels in sooner.
Sorry AshleyY, your left back slot is gone. Downside is LukeS still doesn't make the right decisions when it comes to overlapping the left wing player.
MarcusR the boy will learn from this, or should I say he better do. PhilB is just sore at no longer playing for ManUtd.
That penalty that didn't go in was amateurish - I could take it and it would have been the same.

A lot of the decisions didn't go our way since we were 2-0 up. Referees are just human - they'll tend to side the losing side subconsciously. Some tend to side the non-United side from the kick off. So nothing new.

Good showing with a good result. And now we have to wait 2 weeks again? What the hell.

croc1977 03-09-2018 10:19 AM

so no more Fred Flintstone for next few games??

You can hate them, you may not like it. Fact is they have a long term plan, and they follow through it. We have none.

Spoiler!

Mancunian2 03-09-2018 10:24 AM

yesterday was another tepid performance against a very tired Burnley side who played a match 2 days ago. against a better or fresher opponent, they might have lost

Lukaku scored 2 but missed 4 good chances
Rashford(like Martial) is clearly frustrated, hence his over-reaction to Bardsley's tackles
Pogba blows hot and cold
Mata reportedly broke off new contract negotiations
his constant kpkb has made all the central defenders (bailley, smalling, jones, lindelof) lose confidence which translates to blunders at critical moments

pretty obvious Mourinho has lost the dressing room
currently, only shaw and lingard are playing well, even DDG is ashadow of his peak prowess

he may yet last through this season but unlikely he will still be around next season

agree on Rashford, perhaps if he is playing/scoring regularly he might control his emotions better.
but then again, he got kicked.

Asakura 03-09-2018 10:35 AM

im thinking Fellaini was deployed specifically for Burnley.
