some will say he purposely let in goals to see how the fans will react during his bad form before commiting his future
Finally!

At the numbers discussed, i'm perfectly happy for DDG to earn that wage. He's deserved it even if last season was a distraction for him.

DDG played better against Leicester probably because he already decided to sign to new deal.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer makes James Maddison top target to bring more creativity to Manchester United

Don't think Leicester will be willingly to sell him. Be prepared to pay a very high price to sign him.

Finally DDG signed! Now Woody can focus on getting a midfielder.

DDG has no release clause?

He can still choose to leave if not happy

So much negativity, I can't see how the extension is anything more than positive. He leaves, we get a higher fee. He stays, he's still one of the best in the league.

David De Gea has signed a new long-term contract with Manchester United, keeping him at the club until at least June 2023. There is an option to extend for a further year.

David, 28, joined United in 2011 and has made 367 appearances so far.

During his time with the club, he has won the Premier League, the FA Cup, the League Cup, the UEFA Europa League and the Community Shield.

at least we cfm won't lose him to free transfer again

and hopefully stabilize his attitude esp those poor games......

happy we got one of the best still

Exactly my point. Losing him for free would be very disappointing on the management.
