Don’t think Chong will make it here, Gomes maybe, Greenwood will

Chong’s football brain is still like an U16 youth and once he kena pressed, he will gabra and anyhow pass

Only one goal yes but Astana are one of the worst teams i have ever seen play at Old Trafford. Game was basically in all their half for ninety minutes. Rochdale will probably go to OT and play better next week
I expect much more.. But what to do?

i don't think that's the case for this match
Not bad what so many shots on goal. Not typical of Utd these days.

Unfortunately the opposition keeper was possessed by the ghost of OT again.

Rojo played like Roberto Carlos.

Lacking match fitness...

Happy Dalot, Fred, Tuanzebel had a full game. When the base is stable, the confidence will come.

he is fast becoming Danny Welbeck MkII

I think his problem is hanging out and partying with Lingard too much.

this player looks good. ole coached him before.

He is the son of Alfie Haland, the player that was involved in the infamous altercation with Roy Keane

Rojos has always been decent going forward. Just that he's also injury prone.

Jones is also very good. Just that he's injury prone and made high profile mistakes which damage his reputation.

Smalling is strong going forward but made a lot of small profile mistakes over time.

Good goal for Greenwood. Happy for him. Hope he gets more minutes. Besides his goal, you can really see he has a good shot, both feet.

Rojo played well. I know it's a small, unknown side, but his performance is better than any LB we have had this season so far.

Gomes seems to be progressing better than Chong. Gomes isn't fazed when playing with first team, you can see he's trying hard. But Chong is a different story, still too raw, no composure, like someone mentioned, pressure him abit, he will panick easily. Duno what's the hype about him really.

Matic, for all he has said recently, poor first half, lost possession, slow to react, drive forward to no avail.

Rashford.. I don't think we can rely on him for goals this season. If he can get 15 in the league really miracle liao. He needs a lot of chances to convert 1.

I know the opponent nothing to shout about, I am also disappointed we sat in their half for basically all of 90 mins and only come up with 1 goal. But it's our B team with quite a few youngsters, significant chop & change, on a european game.. so give chance lah.

Matic has no performance to back his claim for a first team spot

I am surprised he was made captain.. He was also constantly dishing out instructions before our corners, who to take up space where. Good. But performance not up to par.. be it a captain or first team material.

Oh yeah. Fred played well again. He does it comfortably for european games. Higher tempo than Matic, presses well. He came close to scoring twice also.

People say Gomes too small size to play in EPL but many years ago a small Argentine player that play for Spur also same size or smaller size than Gomes. He was one of the best player for Spur.

If Gomes has a good skill and tech then he will succeed in the EPL.
