he is too nice to be confrontational in public/media like Mourinho
so we can only assume he didn't make noise about the lack of recruitment because he genuinely thinks this squad is okay to start the season.

but he just said it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know United is going in the market for strikers. so does that mean, he had strikers targets that didn't get fulfilled by Woodward in the summer?
Just also to be clear, Im not suggesting sacking OGS is a solution for the club.

As of now Im simply unconvinced he has the right caliber and hes clearly not in the same class as JM... of course the question is, is Man Utd a TOP club or a mid table club now?

Make no mistake, the clubs downward spiral has been caused by Woodward. We should have been building on that second place finish. It since that season, Woodward seems to think he knows Football better than anyone else.

And JM did make a good point about Rashford and Martial too. Its been quite a few Seasons since they have debuted..... if they cant show the goods soon it just means they are pretty much at max potential already.

‘We let Alexis and Romelu go, you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to see that it’s a forward that next time we’re going to recruit – we’re looking for some creativity and goals'

in Aug
"Anthony and Marcus can carry our attacking threat,"
"If not, we would have signed someone else or kept someone else."

not so much actually

the fact that he was willing to go into the season with this squad just shows he's clueless and out of his depth.

but he has great PR, so it makes him look good
I like to believe he has a plan in place and it isnt time to judge that yet.

his plans involves the board level
like play more youth, buy players that want to stay at United etc etc

but im still unsure of his game plan and with the late substitutions just yet

so let's just hope Ed actually can watch another 3-6months of this.

Best strategy now is for United to sack every manager that does not perform in 6 months of their tenure.

So every season United will get a new manager and stuck to one when the manager can win the EPL in their first season or win every games in the his first 6 months.

Every new season we are solving previous season issue. But glazer see no issue. As long as they can take money from united... 1st place and 10th place are the same.

why can't woody buy the players we need. if sack again then no more good manager to sign unless allegri or pochettino.

if we got bruno, eriksen, sancho etc then no need to sack manager cos these players will help us secure top 4. last window we should have gone for joao felix.

tbf, Ole's ideology so far, seems more suited for the DoF role than a manager.
clap clap great idea! "promote" Ole to DoF! Then find a new manager. kill 2 birds!

I like Ole, but if he's not cut out to be an elite manager, then we should use his passion and knowledge elsewhere.
