Ed Woodward has today written to United’s 900 full-time employees to say club won’t use government furlough scheme and that they will be paid as normal. Employees unable to work from home being “strongly encouraged” to volunteer for NHS.

So the players are not interested in a pay cut....

Premier League stars refuse to back down as they tell their clubs (and Matt Hancock!) they they will NOT be forced into taking pay cuts in fresh talks led by..

more like liverpool started this got bad PR then ed quickly say they won't use.

knowing ed ALWAYS want to save money(but always end up paying more), liverpool's bad piece of PR probably saved hm.

Manchester United striker Alexis Sanchez is reluctant to give up his galactic wages to leave Old Trafford this summer.

The London Evening Standard says the 31-year-old is reluctant to take a pay cut just to secure a move, despite it being made clear he is not in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's plans.

Sanchez still has two more years to run on a contract worth around £450,000-a-week, forcing Old Trafford's hierarchy to weigh up their options as to how to handle their highest-paid player.

His Man Utd contract is his last big one liao... of course he will hang on to it.

Almost all the big earner south american 'stars' we've ever had all got no sense of shame one... All are money merceneries. Only one I admire is Sergio Romero.

But who would have imagined that Sanchez really down tools at both Man Utd and Inter until like that after his Arsenal debacle.

No other big club will touch him with a 10 foot pole after his 'performances' over the last 3 years.

Not to mention if the season is end now or later, I'm afraid even the new 2021 season will be difficult to kick off on time in August ;)
