the only thing we can look forward to is that the club can sign good players like sancho and havertz. hopefully can keep ighalo permanent. at least football on pitch will not be that boring.

Sancho and his Borussia Dortmund teammate Manuel Akanji were both fined by the German league on Friday for breaking stringent coronavirus guidelines to get haircuts at home.

Photos emerged of Sancho, 20, and 24-year-old Swiss defender Akanji having their hair styled in their respective homes, with neither the players nor the hairdresser wearing any personal protective equipment.

Manchester United have struck terms with Ajax for Donny van de Beek, it has been sensationally claimed.

De Telegraaf says United have agreed a €50m (£44.5m) fee with Ajax for Van de Beek.

Real Madrid have long been linked with the midfielder, but United are looking to steal a march on their rivals and hope Edwin van der Sar's position as Ajax sporting director will help in their favour.

It was also claimed yesterday that United had opened talks with Van de Beek's agents about personal terms.

While their bid has been accepted, United will still need to persuade the midfielder about a move given his admiration for Real Madrid.
