Ez-United keeper trying to prove the club was wrong not to keep him. Always like that isn't it?
Laboured win, with a dash of luck.
The team without ScottM looked a bit disjointed in midfield. Our play wasn't fluid and there wasn't some knd of gameplan, other than the trying-to-make-AlexT-score-a-PaulS-goal attempts. I thought AlexT was decent, but isn't that good in the final third, as he doesn't offer himself as an overlapping option often enough. Comparatively, LukeS on the other hand does it at the right times more often.
EdinsonC meanwhile looked a little stiff in movement. Hope to see more of him.

Credit to the referee who made the right call to go against his own decision and the VAR who suggested that there might have been a clear and obvious error. These are the kind of decisions that prove having VAR is the right way forward. One day, there might be sensors on boots and the football to catch timings of events and last touches hahaha.

Manchester United strikers have the worst shot to goal conversion rate (8%) in the PL this season

Martial 8 shots 0 goals
Greenwood 7 shots 0 goals
Rashford 20 shots 2 goals

Manchester United 'lining up Everton's Marcel Brands' to be their first director of football after struggles in the transfer market with Dutchman's Goodison Park contract up next year

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-football.html

And so it begins, going to end November and December is coming fast, meaning January transfer window is less than 1.5 months away. Time for woody to float DoF rumours to get through a barren transfer window

If win easy, nothing much to write. Need to let fans know they labour hard for a win.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "It's nice after the international break that you get a win. We needed that win at home. We looked unsettled towards the end even though we should score one or two more to have a more relaxed finish.

"It's never comfortable against players of this quality.
They had a couple of chances and David [de Gea] made two fantastic saves. Tight margins decide games but the mood is decided by the results.
