1 month in Loughborough, any recommendations?

will be in Loughborough for work for 1 month, just to check what things can I do over the weekends? Might have a transport car, might not. Not a soccer fan, so won't be dropping by the stadiums..

Another question, duty-free cigarettes are limited to 200 sticks in UK right? Buy from Singapore can right? Thanks!

From what i hear, there is nothing much in Loughborough. Most of the students that i know of tend to go to Birmingham as it is a much bigger city with things to do.
