Anyone travel to Europe with kids before ?

Wondering any bros or sis here travel with kids to Europe before?

I am travelling to Rome during may and intend to travel up to Paris before coming back to sg but I am not sure where to stay or what mode of transportation should I take ?

With a kid around, the hassle is definitely the luggage.

Have research renting car as an option but it is going to cost a bomb travelling from continent to continent.

Anyone have past experience to share ?

Lodging/tpt aside, note that public toilets can hardly be found. Either drink €5 kopi or pay €1 tip to use cafe washrooms.

what is your budget, and how young and restless is your kid ?

i would suggest they should be in their teens first.

bringing kids to europe at a young age can be quite troublesome especially people there do expect some behaviour from and control over your children.

i have seen parents with young kids but unable to explain the amount of nudity they get to see, nude statues, paintings, etc. the kids will just pass childish comments and the parents would just shout at them to not see them.

nevertheless, europe is still kid-friendly (as in safe) and so long you can overcome the hassle, it shouldn't be a big problem.

I went to Greece when my son was 1.5 years old. Had to bring lotsa diapers and milk powder and ziploc bags for vomit and poo.

I lost count the number of trips I have done with my kids... I usually fly to longhual flights when they are 1 year old. The toughest age is probably 3-4 I feel... unreasonable and yet strong and mobile

Bringing kids to holiday have it's challenges. Their food, nap time.. etc etc. Shopping time will have to be planned, can't take own sweet time to browse and try. Lol.

Travelled from Zurich to Spain with my 13 months, it's an adventure.
