I bought $1177 sin-lhr return for travel in end Mar back in 2012 on Qatar, with 3 hours transit at Doha each way. I think the price is ok.

hi guys, anyone who managed to sign up for air france's Flying Blue frequent flyer program? i'm so pissed right now that somehow i can't, just because when i enter my home address, some of the letters are not included in their latin alphabet system which i find very ridiculous! any way to get around it?

sorry I dont have flying blue.
However, have you tried applying via KLM? KLM website is more user friendly than Air France. Perhaps worth a try since the airline is known collectively nowadays as Air France-KLM.

Bought my air tickets a little too early, now the price dropped, could have saved $258 in total for 3 tickets. Bought them at the end of May for a mid-Sept trip. Probably next time will book around 90 days in advance.

Recently I bought SIN - LHR (transit in Helsinki); AMS - SIN (stopover one day in Helsinki) ticket.
Air Ticket is S$871. I think the price is reasonable. Taking A350.
Round trip to London is $1,005
Round trip to Amsteram is $860

The promotion until end of the month. I have missed the promotion of Swiss Air ($766 for the same route)

I'm looking at about the same route in December.

I think depends on the situation ..
For my case, my first ever Long-haul flight will be SIN - LHR (via HEL), AMS - SIN (via HEL).

Arrival time for SIN - HEL is 0635 local time, and departure time for HEL - LHR is 0800. I think I no need to waste too much time in transit . The only disadvantage is I need to sit back and relax in the plane for 12 hours. I don't know I can tahan. I prefer transit in UAE. Take flight for 6-7 hours then walk walk and stand stand in the airport before continue another 6-7 hours journey to Europe.

My return flight is AMS - SIN (stopover one day in HEL).
I have about 26 hours for stopover in HEL. Initially I don't have plan to stopover in HEL, if I choose transit on that day, the air fare is 860. If I choose stopover , the air fare is 871. I will reduce a day trip in AMS, so there is no waste of my annual leave.
