I think my nose about 3hr later got shine :(

don't be so upset about it
for Singapore's weather, this is normal

When I visit friends who stay in countries with 4 seasons, they experience the same thing (oily skin) in summer

Hydrate more! I think I gonna try the perfect one, since essence milk is an emulsion

Bought another 2 tubes. Been using tretinoin for more than a decade for antiaging

Needs slow easing into various strengths, but if tolerable skin agreeable , then I would not waste my dough on retinol ( which is a precursor and alot is lost in the process of getting converted to the active tretinoin). Tretinoin is cheap, no romanticizing in marketing, and ready to act.

In Japan compounding pharmacies make up to 0.4% for rejuvenation. Locally in singapore can only go up to 0.1% :(

Did you get it from Malaysia? Do you know if they carry the slow release gel formula from retin-a?

I got from clinics locally.

I heard from my colleague JB pharmacies sell slightly cheaper.

Dunno about slow release gel version.

I tried a tretinoin gel some yrs back, and although it feels light, my skin cannot tahan the drying. The cream still better for my skin.

U want the gel base because cream causes clogging ?

Yes, that was what I understand from other people's online sharing.

I am tempted yet hesitant at the same time to try out tretinoin. Man, I really can't decide hahaha

I just wondered if anyone could advise on the best sunscreen for exercising outdoors? I have this issue with every brand that when I begin to sweat whilst running/Swimming the cream runs into my eyes and it is quite painful - usually means I have to stop

Unfortunately whether cream formulation causes clogging on ur skin is a very individual thing that requires some trial and error on ur end.

Try starting from low strength first. I went with 0.01% alternate night then nightly then few mths later increased to 0.025% and upwards as tolerated. Moisturise and sunblock plenty..
