Not trying to throw a spanner into the works but I have to agree. Used both Gold Digger and recently just used Chrome. Better hold I have to give it to Chome. Washability, also to Chrome.

I have used the MM Treatment Balm too. Both Balm and Chrome equally good
that's why double the price
but rmb it's also almost double the quantity.

100ml vs 65ml.

matte look = wax is dry and not shiny

natural = wax is shinier, a little glossy like gel

Good thing is that GD and MM holds up pretty well against the rain, as long as you are not drenched.

I agree with you on the hold but personally, i kinda think that MM handles fray hairs a bit better and also in terms of hold, it last longer than GD.

If i leave home at 8am, GD will usually start to lose hold around 7 to 8pm. MM still going strong around 10pm,

Thats my personal opinion though

Wah if this is true, its real bad. How did you manage to find out? It's damn misleading considering the outside of the can says that the product was formulated in California. I suspect its like what whysoliddat says, "made in china, formulated in California" So that means that its the same case for GetZGY ah.

Don't tell me they buy alibaba OEM pomade for 1-2 USD each and repackage the tin.

Wah got chance leh.. looking at the tin + the colours of the pomade. And they mentioned that it's able to come in any scent you want. Keep thinking about GetZGY's "Fanta Grape" and "Hugo Boss" scent. There's a chance that this is exactly what they have been doing.

Hopefully not lor.

Although their china factory got safety QC measures in place, still I find this very unethical and unprofessional. Getzgy I can understand, but SGpomade a renowned company doing that, is just outright desperate. Maybe too much competition for mainstream brands now that's why they went that route. Anyway hope the respective owners can clarify here to allay users concerns.
