Blumaan is pretty good as a prestyler for short hair imo. Just throw it into damp hair, blowdry and you're good. Only for short hair tho, I find that it doesnt work as well once hair is longer.

Other than that I would recommend Indians Molding Clay with/without hairspray for a more fixated, stay in place kind of hold or if you can afford it, Morris Motley for a more natural hold.
Uevo vs Indian moulding clay?

Uevo vs Indian moulding clay?

Uevo has abit more of a natural sheen with more separation, while Indians has a drier matte finish with a tighter and more "glued together" kind of structure. Both have good hold, but in my experience Uevo works better when my hair is shorter. Once hair is a little longer, I have abit of trouble with it in terms of endurance. So far Indians has been working extremely well for me even when my hair has grown out.

Then again this is just subject to my own experience with my own hair type. Uevo seems to work great for alot of others even with medium length hair!

*Clears throat* As far as I know, certain "local" brands that we have discussed before are known to sell white label products. But tbh many brands do this, even those professional salon brands. There's no law as far as I know claiming that this practice is illegal. The only thing here is that those "local" brands we have discussed about.. The quality of the products are..... Use once or twice u can tell alreh. Hair turns into straw after washing product out.

Chrome could do that yeah! its a side part with volume and some natural shine. But it depends on your hair type. Personally prefer the balm because of its lighter weight (I have fine, straight soft hair) but it gives a matte finish

what shampoo would you guys recommend ah? I've been using mister pompadour for a while but tbh the minty feel isn't that strong (or maybe my hair too thick lol) and i don't know if it makes any difference to my hair... Feel like switching to something else!
