For those who had made glasses at JB, do you have to pay in full when making your order? Or a deposit will do? What is the deposit amt?

Also, how long it took for the glasses to be ready?

Please advise.

Thanks
made mine at Ban Eyecare at holiday plaza, was intro by a friend so i made full amt

glasses was ready in abt 3 hrs, so went ksl shop and eat then return for collection

also note that how fast you can get your glasses is depend on their availability and your eye degree. mine was 250R 225L (below 300)

Anyone knows if they sell the MGS V JF Rey frames in Singapore? I e-mailed Integrated Eye Care but they didn't reply. I may make a trip down.

I'd also like to know how durable are JF Rey frames if any of you have any experience with it?

You could actually request to change to silicone nose pad. It's quite comfy because it's more soft than the usual 'plastic' nose pad.

Hey glasses guys, given that I have astigmatism of 500, and nearsightedness of 500, is there any way to make lenses for cheaper? I've been saddled with high-priced lenses all my life.

You shd spend more on good lenses rather than going for cheaper lenses that cant last for even 2 years. Just accept the hard truth lar. Cheaper lens means lower quality. Go for better ones like hoya. Wont go wrong.

I'm having a hard time looking for lower-half frame glasses. Most of them I see are the upper-half frame glasses. I dropped by Parkway Parade today but there was one that caught my eye, except that thing is like a "display set" and the last piece and it was damn dusty too. I wonder how long the thing has been there...

And does anyone know where I can find JF Rey glasses and if they have the Hideo Kojima glasses in Singapore?

Hard to find. Sg trend not in. Likely you wont find any good one. How about the one in the link below?

http://kaneko-optical.tumblr.com/post/139592975454/%E3%82%B0%E3%83%A9%E3%83%9E%E3%83%A9%E3%82%B9%E3%81%8B%E3%81%A4%E7%8B%AC%E5%89%B5%E7%9A%84%E3%81%AA%E3%82%A2%E3%83%B3%E3%83%80%E3%83%BC%E3%83%AA%E3%83%A0-spivvy-sp-1183

JFRey have but not comfy. Sg mkt too limited. Most prefer to buy cheap cheap ones online or those owndays or cheap korean trends one. Not many will bother abt quality eyewear.
