I see, is this your first progressives?
2nd pair... previously got the cheapest Zeiss lens around a year ago but my eyes got very tired easily after around 15mins of reading. I can’t remember but this situation maybe started 4 months ago. The optics said I should increase my Lao Hua from 1.25 to 2.00. I’m layman regarding glasses so seeking opinion from experienced bro here...

Hi bro,
Never heard of Apollo lens but as long as the optical shop know you're using Zeiss previously and are confident that their lenses can match it, go for it.

Probably also ask what happens if you cant get used to it

I have issue focusing whenever I shift from looking at my phone to looking at a distance. I need to close my eyes awhile before the focus is back. Happens more common at night or in lighted areas. Is it my eyes got serious problem or my lens not suitable?

It’s normal as we get older or when we are tired. Our eye muscles requires time to accommodate to the distance that we are looking. Thus shifting focus from near to far, in a short time especially when you are looking at near objects for a period of time, this blurring will occur. More common especially for aged 40+++

No la don’t worry, not necessarily must be 40 and above. As I mentioned sometimes after prolonged period of reading on closer devices or even just being tired will cause your eyes muscles to not work as fast. Chill!
Hmm maybe antifatigue would serve you well which in the case would be hoya sync, essilor eyezen, zeiss digital lens/energize me, Shamir relax, kodak city lens, tokai or Asahi might have their version too.

Hi bro,

Do you experience such issues mostly at night? Usually too much near work will cause your extra-ocular eye muscles to overwork.

I suggest dropping by your usual optical shop to check if you have any phoria/tropia (extraocular muscle problem) or Presbyopia (Laohua).

Moscot is made in China. Also their spear are just pasted on and not functional like the original where it holds the hinge in place. End of last year tart optical was on sale for about 300 a pop.
Thanks for sharing!
