can any bro help me with this question...why some pre-owned watches doesn't comes with cert?

can't be the owner sold it, lost it...or threw it away right? at first...my thought is..tax issue. but that should concern the receipt....not the cert. saw many rolex in carousell that doesnt come with paper. and when i visit japan's pre-owned shops...some jdm grand seiko doesnt comes with cert as well. strange. any bros wondering the same?

I come across sellers that they show you that cert when selling and not passing it to you as it have their name. Silly but true. Of course the price reflects accordingly la.

As replica improves over time. Still good to have the "birth cert"

Some watches without cert may be stolen items.

The older the watch is, the more valuable is the cert.

Compare first gen explorer 2 (70s watch) with cert and without

A host of reasons to pay a little more now for the certificate, unless it's to wear (couple of years) and flip
