I'm hanging around here quite often ,I think people that gets GS really appreciate fine watch making , but still GS not that well known here leh most people still have the mentality it's still a Seiko after all 🤣
people i know that buy GS does appreciate the finer side of watch making.
for me, sian of seiko, try GS. lol

that's why GS separated themselves from Seiko.
good move although everyone kb at first, say not authentic anymore.
i think with the GS logo on top, makes it more "atas"

GS have saw some video of the misalignment on sbge201, well it doesn't concern me that much

It is the seiko that are misaligned.

GS where got this issue.

Anyway seiko misalignment is proof of authenticity. No need bring to seiko svc center to authenticate.

Interested and have been reading on the Oris Aquis Date 39.5 lately.

Based on 39.5mm, it should fit my thin wrist though I have yet to see the real watch. Will try to make time to see it physically one of these days.

Also looking at the Tudor BB58 (39mm) but I read that it is OOS in all the ADs.

Any feedback on the Aquis and its movement?

movement for the oris shld be no issues. i have an aquis date relief and its good for me.

price difference with the bb58 is quite abit. u can probably go down to any nearest ADs to take a look at the oris, quite a number of places is selling it and can get a relatively good discount as well.

Sorry to hear that you kena and thanks for the alert, have blocked. Encountered such case before, take the loss and sell as faulty watch. Seller also one kind, shan't elaborate.. JJWW when I listed the piece and mention my unhappy experience briefly but also never offer any recourse. Not unexpected, which is why I didn't even bother getting back to him in the first place. How do you put it - these people all play watch also, can dunno the problem? Got flaw but post as mint?

If you ask me, in your case, this guy clearly offering the solution that he took himself. When I sold my faulty piece I thought very long and hard - it is tempting, the flaw maybe won't notice if in a rush (like I was when I bought the piece). But my integrity is worth more than $200-$300. Lol.

To be fair to seller I don't feel he should bear the repair costs. It's like I buy second hand car from direct seller, drive off the lot, find out there's some problem with the car awhile later then u turn back to seller and say eh the car got problem you better split repair costs with me. Maybe this is a standard practice for reselling watch? Not familiar just boliao and giving my 2 cents
