Where to repair automatic watch

Where to repair automatic watch

I just dropped my Cartier automatic watch on the floor n now then second hand stop moving . Move awhile stop then move awhile stop . It is over 10 years old watch .. any recommendation to send where for repair ?? Tried wearing on my wrist n shake it .. move n stop ..

How long have you been wearing this? Sure it’s not just that it’s not wound?

Yes very .. I Thot the screen will crack .. but now is the 2nd hand not moving .. I m thinking muz I send it back to Cartier

didn't state model of Cartier watch no idea what u should do.
if watch contains a inhouse movement best go back to Cartier.
an ETA mod you can do it outside with place such as JW watch.

10yrs no service, U need a repair plus a overhaul. wouldn't be cheap.

10 years... I don't think Cartier will repair without a overhaul.
the working parts needs to be clean and lubricated and new part provided.
if don't clean and lub, I don't think cartier will gurantee their work.

it like changing the gears on the bicycle, when they replace the gear they would want to ensure the chain is lubricated so it wouldn't cause issue with the new gears. mechanical parts not SW.
