The more I look at the Merge tote, the more I feel it's simply Shati with leather bottom. I reckon I should get something with a slightly different material.
Not to mention Tanker tote is much safer when it comes to rainy weathers due to the material. I'm currently also contemplating btw the Heat series or Tanker series for my next tote bag, both are water-resistant. My current Ounce tote cannot bring out during bad weather, if not the denim dye coloring can go eat **** liao.

About that, I think I can clarify and explain abit. As a matter of fact Headporter/Porter Yoshida's goods prices are actually pretty controlled in Japan actually, I dun think there's any possibilities they can set the retail prices apart in such a vast difference for the same model. But it's worthwhile to note that usually for conventional products in Japan, they (both wholesalers and retailers respectively) follow an 'open pricing' standard, meaning when they get their stocks from said manufacturers for example Porter/Headporter, even though the manufacturers can have a indicated SRP for the related product, wholesalers and retailers themselves can actually set their own prices, akin in a controlled manner. Take note this standard is only practiced by Japan retailers, doesn't apply to shops outside of Japan.

Like for example, on these 2 websites here and here, both are similiarly selling the same model for 19800yen (excluding tax). Granted they are resellers themselves, sometimes usually if its different online shops there's still some chances that there will be minor price differences in the 100 - 1000+yen range, but nothing too drastic in terms of prices like 13500yen and 19800yen apart. It's quite likely the 13500yen price that u saw in the catalog for the BB zip shoulder bag is an old price or the SRP set by the manufacturer, not the reseller shops.
i see... =S

nxt week get salary then order. =P

No such thing as more guys or girls, nowadays fashion we are talking abt metrosexual liao. Tote bags last time only made for girls, in modern times nowadays u also see guys carrying liao, like myself for example.

You see the bag or brand u like, just grab it. No point pondering over whether a certain label got more guys or girls carry anot. You only live your life once, just do whatever u deem or like. Life's too short to hesitate.

This caught my eye.

http://ace-company.net/~coolcat/port...case/index.htm

But this is from 2001 series and it is under (欠品中)

Does this mean it is out of stock and no more in production? If it is a 2001 season series, does it mean they only produce them in 2001 and no more reproduction?

Hopefully someone can answer my queries.

Porter and Luggage Label

Hi,
Newbie here. Anyone can help me with this question?
Is luggage Label under porter Tokyo? How come there is no porter Tokyo label on it? LL material seems to be quite rough. Anyone have this range bag?
