Delle Alpi stadium is finally bianconero

"Delle Alpi stadium is finally bianconero. On the 15 of July 2003, Juventus Football Club and the City of Turin signed an agreement for the constitution of ground rights on the Stadium and on the near areas for 99 years."

I read this on the official website

Now we dun need to share the stadium with Torino liao...=p

Zalayeta Out Until September

Juventus striker Marcelo Zalayeta will miss the Italian Super Cup final after that an MRI confirmed he has a strained right knee.

The Uruguayan tower will now have to wear a tutor for 20 days, after which he will need ten more to be completely rehabilitated.

This means Zalayeta will be back at full form for the Serie A's first round of matches.

our 1st pre-season match

we won 12-0 and Di Vaio scored 4 GOALS

Alessandro Del Piero scored Juve’s first official goal of the season in Nicola Legrottaglie’s debut.

The reigning Italian Champions brushed aside local side Valle d’Aosta 12-0 on Thursday evening and their captain was the star of the show.

Del Piero opened the scoring on 13 minutes before converting a spot-kick soon after, but also provided assists for David Trezeguet and Edgar Davids.

Ex-Chievo man Legrottaglie made his debut in central defence alongside Mark Iuliano, while Gianluca Zambrotta was again impressive at left-back.

Despite his recent row with the club, Mauro Camoranesi started the match on the right flank.

Coach Marcello Lippi changed the entire side for the second half to give former Brescia starlet Stephan Appiah his first Juventus appearance.

Marco Di Vaio and Fabrizio Miccoli formed a stunning partnership upfront with four goals for the ex-Parma hitman and a series of assists from the tiny Italian international.

Marcelo Zalayeta did not take part as the Uruguayan forward has been ruled out for three weeks with a knee injury.

Juventus One 5-0 Valle d’Aosta

Scorers: Del Piero 13, pen 23, Davids 15, Trezeguet 31, Nedved 44

Line-up: Buffon, Birindelli, Legrottaglie, Iuliano, Zambrotta; Camoranesi, Tacchinardi, Davids; Nedved; Trezeguet, Del Piero

Juventus Two 6-0 Valle d’Aosta

Scorers: Di Vaio 7, 11, 20, 36, Conte 22, Miccoli 40, Olivera 45

Line-up: Chimenti, Ferrara, Maresca, Montero, Appiah, Fresi, Pessotto, Conte, Olivera, Di Vaio, Miccoli

Lippi doesn’t fear Milan

Juventus boss Marcello Lippi says his side have nothing to fear from Champions’ League winners Milan.

Rossoneri Vice-president Adriano Galliani recently insisted that his team were the best in Italy but the Scudetto winning Coach doesn’t agree.

"We don’t feel inferior to Milan at all," stated the Delle Alpi tactician. "When they beat us in the final of the European Cup I went over and congratulated them.

"But I also reminded them that over the past two League seasons we collected 27 more points than them. They’re probably just better than us at taking penalties."

Juventus midfielder Gianluca Zambrotta mirrored Lippi’s views. "We don’t fear them," said the international.

"We’ve won the last two Italian championships, something that is not an easy thing to do in Italy.

"We have no weak points in our side and the club have strengthened the squad in every single department this summer.

"My personal objective for the new season is to win as much as possible. After all, I’ve missed out on European Championship and European Cup success right at the death."

Zambrotta was part of the Azzurri squad that was beaten in the Euro 2000 Final by a David Trezeguet golden goal against France
