Different. GC is turn based with fixed research tree. Stellaris is real time with randomized research. Battles are different too.

At most they'll have graphical improvements, and some minor gameplay improvements.

The core concept has its upper ceiling already, there won't be anything much.

In Civ 1, there is no diplomacy...
Only peace or war... This is best liaoz... :s13:

Hope they have something new and not the same old stuff.
Most importantly to improve the AI and not rely on cheating to up the difficulty.
