Exclamation Notebook Clinic Terms of Conduct, read here before posting

Welcome to HardwareZone Notebook Clinic.

This section of the forum aims to provide the community with a channel to find out more about mobile computing. To provide a conducive environment for forum members, we appreciate if the following behavior can be observed:

1) Please avoid trying to create new thread/s on similar topics that are already having an ongoing discussion with existing thread/s in the forum.

Do look at the sticky threads which serves as main information sources for your questions.

Forumers who insist on starting new threads on an existing topic will have their threads closed.

2) If you are posting with regards to a problem with your laptop, please identify the main issue and post accordingly.

For operating system issues, use the Software Clinic or Opensource Community forums.
For internet related issues, use the Internet, Bandwidth and Networking clinic, etc.

The forumers there will be in a better position to provide answers, don't you think?
Notebook Clinic is more suited for discussions and hardware related issues.

3) Please note that all sales threads will not be entertained.

If a forumer who signs up just to post and sell a laptop with no discussion and contribution to the community, the thread shall be thrashed.

If a forumer has engaged in a discussion and unwittingly posted a sale thread, it will be moved to Marketplace Classified/Garage Sales.

4) Retailers should not use this as an avenue to tout for business. Please contact the administrators about the Featured Distributor status instead.

5) Do not engage in any acts of defamation to any retailers. There were past cases which led to civil law suits. Please be responsible for your own actions.

6) Do not create threads or discuss issues pertaining to software piracy.

HardwareZone takes a serious stand towards Intellectual Property infringement. Such threads will be thrashed on sight and a warning be given to the forumers concerned.

Hope that all forum members will abide to these terms of conduct and forge a community of mobile computing users, thank you.
