That's right! You should go click S2, S3, S4 and follow the procedure to download and install the respective app. You can find TVB in other S's so in case TVB in UB own app ( S1 ) is downed, you can go watch it from S2 which I believe ( hope I am right ) is different server from UB.

anyone faced the issue whereby the box will suddenly go to phone lock screen mode with pin number? From there on need to restart the box in order to use it again because i do not know what is the pin to login

Out of the 4 apps, only one is proprietary to UB.

S2, S3, S4 are free IPTV apps and can be run on most android boxes.

There are tons of similar working streaming apps with similar channels out there. Just install shafa butler and download the apps from there and try it out yourself. This kind of thing dont have wait for other people to spoon feed it to you but since some people like to wait for the apples to fall from the tree........

S2: Ulive app. 80+ channels. Nothing special. All these channels can also be found in other similar apps.

S3: Essentially a customised version of HDPTV app(大屏播放器) with customised channel list loaded into it. Ownself can source for and load whatever iptv channels you want into app if you have the knowhow.

S4: TVPlus 2.0. Can simply download the app off google playstore.

You sure qoo10 dont have? I searched and managed to find 2 sellers. Way overpriced tablet with low end specs hardware. Again, you are paying a premium for just the ubtv app. If you already owned a ubox, why would you still want or need a upad?

Just wanted it so that can carry around to in-law house..etc.

Learn to backup and transfer your own apps so that next time you dont have to rely on others. Download or sideload ES file manager and use the backup function in it. After that, just transfer the apk inside the backup folder to your other devices. But of cos, for proprietary apps like UBTV, it wont work on any other devices that is not the ubox.
