Where to buy ThinkPad Yoga 12 (2nd Gen)

Anyone knows where can I get the ThinkPad Yoga 12 (2nd Gen) with warranty. Sadly Lenovo Singapore is not carrying it and they do not intent to bring it in.

Sorry to dig up the thread.

I am looking for someone who sells and installs LCD panels and WWAN cards for ThinkPads as I need to get a T420s/T430s/X220/X230 LCD screen upgrade to 1600x900/IPS and add a 3G/4G WWAN card on it.

If anyone got lobang please share or PM me direct or contact via 83445897.

Thanks.

Got the WWAN card already and installed. Super hard to find people selling here if I cannot get from overseas online.

As for LCD panel upgrade, no one in Singapore will do LCD panel upgrade for me (I have asked all ThinkPad vendors in shops and those repair shops too) so I am not going to get a ThinkPad with a 1366X768 or 1280X800 screen resolution. Shops got do LCD panel replacement (same screen resolution) for most brands but not upgrade.

Trying to get other ThinkPad parts without buying from overseas online is also a pain in the ass besides batteries and docking stations.

A kind of adventure and fun doing it thot....haha cos I love the older series of ThinkPads.

1366X768 on my X220 looks good enough.
Why you wanna increase further. My phone QHD i already feel it's no different. Haha.
You can always source eBay for parts then bring in and get vendors to upgrade for you.

It is a personal preference I think as I will like more to be displayed on my screen if I am working on two different tasks. Also the ability to scale down from 1600X900 to 1366X768 if needed is very handy as to only 1366X768 and cannot go any higher.

I cannot get anything from eBay as I do not own a credit card (I also do not want to own one), second is I am not comfortable transact online. So I can only get from local source.

I did ask about if I bring in the LCD panel or parts, will the vendors do it for me at a fee, well all of the ones I go to refuse to do it even for a fee! Maybe they all do not like my face, I really do not know.:s13:

My ThinkPad Yoga S1 comes only with 4GB ram (which is soldered on board). There is a free M.2 slot. How much will increasing the system page file size help to overcome the memory issue?

X1 Carbon Gen 2 Battery

Does anybody know where I can get the internal battery for X1 Carbon Gen 2?

Lenovo is charging a ridiculous amount to replace the battery since it's out of warranty.

Thanks!:(

Not to mention the proprietary SSD from Sandisk. Can't find parts for it either.

Learnt my lesson also never to buy built in battery thinkpads.

I think is better to buy in sg. I just brought mine last week in SG and is with 3 years warrant.

If compare... price is just 200 to 300 diff from USA lenovo.

I just hoot a Thinkpad P70. My cousin will bring it to Spore for me.

Paid USD1500 or about S$2150. The P50 here is already going for S$3500.
